PS4 sales surpassed Xbox One in April

Sony’s PS4′s has reportedly outsold its rival Microsoft’s Xbox One, fourth month in a row. According to CNET, Sony announced sale of 7 million consoles directly to consumers, while Microsoft announced that they have dispatched 5 million units to retailers.
This shows a considerable and persistent gap between the two devices. However, the lifetime sales figures were not disclosed by both of the companies. Meanwhile, Microsoft claimed the majority of software sales in April capturing 8 of 10 positions in ‘top games’ chart.
